Abstract:
To obtain a stator of an AC generator for a vehicle, wherein the output is increased and electromagnetic sound is reduced, and a manufacturing method of the generator.
The section of the main part of a teeth part 51b of a stator coil 51, the section of which is perpendicular to the axial direction, is formed into a rectangle. A group of conductors of a stator coil 52 accommodated in a slot part 51c of the stator core 51 is constituted of conductors having circular sections and conductors having flat angular sections. The total sectional area (space factor) of the conductors of the stator coil 52 accommodated in the slot part 51 to the sectional area of the slot part 51c is constituted to be at least 80%.
