Title:
STATOR FOR BRUSHLESS MOTOR AND CIRCULAR-ARC FORMING THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3156665
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve overall efficiency of a motor by forming a circular arc at a stator for keeping the standard value of a UV two-phase torque constant, and reducing cogging torque.
SOLUTION: This stator is formed so that a symmetrical line 62 may divide the external contour of a salient pole into symmetrical half parts, and auxiliary lines 62, 64 lined on the both sides of the symmetrical line 62 from the first central point 42 may form an angle A indicated in an expression I (where, N is the number of salient poles, and bo is an angle to a full opening in the expression) to the symmetrical line 62, and respective auxiliary lines 62, 64 are brought into protruding contact with the external edge 45 of the salient pole at respective points 70, 72. The central point 74, 76 of a distance (r) indicated by an expression II (where, R is the radius of a central circular arc, and (t) is the edge thickness of a tooth in the expression) are determined from the point 70 on the auxiliary line 62 and the point 72 on the auxiliary line 64, and circular arcs 86, 88 are drawn to the outside of the auxiliary lines 62, 64 with the central points 74, 76 being taken as the centers of the circular arcs so as to be brought into crossing-contact with the side edge of the salient pole at points 82, 84. A position is removed to the outside of the circular arcs 86, 88 of the original salient pole. It is thus possible to form the circular arc of the stator.
