To enable a holding palette to be used in general, corresponding to a difference in thickness of lamination of stator cores, with narrower pitch than conventional.
The holding palette 1 includes an upper palette 2 and a lower palette 3, a plurality of guide posts 4, the base ends of which are fixed to the lower palette 3 and the tops of which can pierce the upper palette 2 upward, stopper grooves 12 and 13, which are formed at the periphery of the tip of the guide post 4 and extend in the direction of crossing the axis of the guide post 4, and a stopper plate 11, which can engage with the stopper grooves 12 and 13. In a state that the tip of the guide post 4 pierces the upper palette 2 and the stopper plate 11 engages with one stopper groove 12 and the position of the upper palette 2 is regulated, the stator core 9 is held between both palettes 2 and 3. The two stopper grooves 12 and 13 are formed in two stages so that they may vertically overlap with each other, with their phases shifted by 90 in the peripheral direction of the guide post 4.
