Title:
STATOR CORE FOR ROTARY ELECTRIC MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5461603
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the leakage flux concentration and decrease the eddy current loss, by providing a magnetic material at each end of the core tooth portions in the direction of lamination with magnetic gaps being interposed between said tooth portions and said material. CONSTITUTION:A keep plate 13 consisting of non-magnetic material is integrally formed with teeth 14 for keeping the core tooth portions 12 in place, and each tooth 14 is provided with a groove 15 in the outer periphery side opposite the core, said groove extending from the top surface to the base portion of the tooth 14. Then a magnetic material 18 is inserted and bonded into the grooves 15. Accordingly, said non-magnetic material 14 interposed between the magnetic material 18 and the tooth portions 12 forms magnetic gaps g. In this construction, the concentrated leakage flux PHI first enters into the magnetic material 18 and then reaches the tooth portions 12 through the gaps g, thus the flux distribtuion is made uniform by the gaps g so that the eddy current loss can be decreased.
