Abstract:

To provide a stator of dynamo electric machine which can restrain deterioration in magnetic efficiency and a method for the manufacture of the stator.

A helical core 1 is formed by alternately laminating steel plates 6 and 7. A lapped portion 14 is formed at both the ends of each unit yoke 3. Each lapped portion 14 is engaged axially with the lapped portions 14 adjacent thereto in the circumferential direction, and they are lapped in the circumferential direction. Since the amount of loss of magnetic flux flowing between the unit yokes 3 adjoining in the circumferential direction is thus reduced, magnetic efficiency is increased. Furthermore, since each of the lapped portions 14 comprises a plane parallel to magnetic pole teeth 4 and an inclined plane inclined to the magnetic pole teeth 4, the amount of laps between the lapped portions 14 in the circumferential direction is increased. As a result, the amount of loss of magnetic flux is further reduced, magnetic efficiency is further improved.
