Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator for a dynamo-electric machine and a manufacturing method thereof, a jointing conductor and a manufacturing method thereof, capable of decreasing heat gain during a jointing process and ensuring high insulation performance by restraining damage to an insulating coating for reduction in the sectional area of the end of the conductor by plastic deformation to the end of the conductor, and realizing productivity improvement and cost reduction by preventing generation of short-circuit between jointed sections in structure and omitting a short-circuit repairing process by manual work which was required conventionally.
SOLUTION: In a jointing conductor 1, the cross-sectional area of the conductor of an end 11 ranging from a tip to a prescribed boundary in the longitudinal direction is formed to be smaller than that of a main part 10. The main part 10 and part of the end 11 in the vicinity of the main part 10 are evenly covered with the insulating coating 2. Two jointing conductors 1 are jointed with the ends 11 aligned to each other.
