Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator capable of enhancing reliability and preventing increase of rotation loss by surely holding and fixing an inter-phase insulation member to surely perform insulation between adjacent coils, and an electric motor having the same.SOLUTION: In a stator 12, an inter-phase insulation member 16 includes a pair of contact pieces 16C which are respectively in contact with coils 13 of different phases in each slot 14a, and a connecting portion (a first bent portion 16A and a pair of second bent portions 16B) connected to the pair of contact pieces 16C. The pair of contact pieces 16C are held by a core 14 and the coils 13 in contact with the coils 13 while having elastic restoring force acting in a direction in which the pair of contact pieces 16C separate from each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
