Title:
STATOR OF LINEAR MOTOR SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2668482
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a means for giving highly precision adequacy to the motion of a linear motor by taking temperature balance by local heat generation so that temperature distribution of a ferro-magnetic stator, particularly the work surface is made uniform.
CONSTITUTION: A ferro-magnetic stator (stator or platen) 12 used for a linear motor system 1 is provided with a heat exchange chamber which is divided into a plurality of small chambers, the coolant is circulated to these small chambers through the conduit 20 from the heat exchanger 22 in order to cool the hot spot generated in the stator 12 in order to prevent adverse effect of the thermal operation due to the partial heat generating phenomenon of the stator by equalizing the temperature of stator.
