To provide a stator of a rotary electric machine and a rotary electric machine capable of reliably insulating a coil between different phases.
In a core unit 4, a coil 6 is wound around a core tooth 5 via a bobbin assembly 7. Guide grooves 78a, 78b, 78c are parallely aligned on outer peripheries of coil guide parts 77 of the bobbin assembly 7 in a rotation axis direction. The plural core units 4 are annularly aligned, and therefore, the adjacent guide grooves 78a, 78b, 78c are connected to each other, and circumferential grooves L1a, L1b, L1c are formed across an entire circumference. After high-voltage side ends 61v, 61w, 61u of the coil 6 are drawn from coil extraction holes L2a, L2b, L2c formed on the respective circumferential grooves L1a, L1b, L1c on an abutting face of the adjacent coil guide parts 77, they are drawn on the circumferential grooves L1a, L1b, L1c and bundled for each of the high-voltage side ends 61v, 61w, 61u of the coil 6 of each phase.
