To provide a stator in which partial discharge at a rising portion of a coil winding is inhibited, and the mechanical strength of the rising portion of the coil winding is improved.SOLUTION: A stator includes: a stator core having a slot in which a winding is wound; and a rising portion where the winding wound in the slot is folded back at an end of the stator core.
