Abstract:
To provide a stator for improving the air exhausting performance of a torque converter.
The stator 18 is arranged between the pump impeller and the turbine liner of the torque converter. It includes an annular shell 20, an annular core 22 arranged on the outer periphery side of the shell 20, and a plurality of vanes 24 radially arranged to integrally connect the shell 20 and the core 22 to each other. Grooves 30 are formed between the shell 20 and each of the vanes 24.
