Abstract:
To provide a stay damper in which a generating position of damping force is fixed.
In a stey damper SD in which a piston 8 is stored in a cylinder 102 so that the piston 8 may freely move in the vertical direction, gas chambers A, B are partitioned over and under this piston 8, a groove 102A communicating the upper and lower gas chambers in formed on the cylinder 102 by being swelled in the axial direction and lubricating oil 112 of prescribed quantity is filled in the gas chambers A, B, a mounting member 10 on the side of the cylinder 102 is coupled with the groove 102A formed on the cylinder 102 by positioning the member 10 in the circumferential direction.
