Abstract:
To provide a stay damper, capable of surely preventing the advancing operation of a piston rod to the inside of a cylinder in a prescribed position of the piston rod.
A cover member 4, capable of being locked on a cylinder 2, is provided on the projecting end side of a piston rod 3 inserted retractably from one end side of the cylinder 2 filled with a pressurized gas. The cover member 4 is attached to the projecting end side of the piston rod 3, so that its tip moves in approximately the radial direction. An axially opened cutout groove 8 is formed on one end side of the cylinder 2. The tip of the cover member 4 is partially engaged with the cutout groove 8.
