Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam cooking device capable of quickening rise of excessively superheated steam and shortening cooking time.
SOLUTION: This steam cooking device is provided with the steam generator for generating steam, a steam temperature raising device for raising temperature of steam from the steam generator, and a heating chamber for heating an object to be heated by the steam supplied from the steam temperature raising device. The steam generator has a pot 41 in which water is supplied, a heater 42 arranged in the pot 41, and a water level sensor 43 and a temperature sensor 48 arranged in the pot 41. The water level sensor 43 and the temperature sensor 48 are arranged on opposing side faces in the pot 41 and a short side side having a thin and long rectangular shape of the port 41. An exposure condition of the heater 42 from water in the pot 41 is determined by the water level sensor 43 and the temperature sensor 48.
