Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a moisture content amount of secondary steam as much as possible and to supply steam of good quality.
SOLUTION: A steam generating device is formed such that an evaporator 2 employing a spiral type heat-exchanger 1 and water supply tank 3 are arranged in juxtaposition. The two devices are communicated together at respective lower parts through coupling pipes 4 and 5 and connected together at respective upper parts through a coupling pipe, and arrangement is effected such that supply water from the water supply tank is circulated by utilizing thermosiphon phenomenon, and in the evaporator 2, steam from a primary steam introduction part 6 is fed as a supply water heating source to one flow passage of the heat-exchanger and heat-exchange is effected through supply of supply water to the other flow passage, and generating secondary steam is extracted from a steam extraction part 7 situated above the water supply tank. A coupling pipe for secondary steam to connect together the evaporator 2 and the water supply tank 3 is arranged above a coupling pipe through which hot water is circulated through utilization of thermosiphon phenomenon.
