Title:
STEAM GENERATING PLANT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5869397
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the rising of the temperture of condensed water due to the circulating operation on a condensed water supply line during the stoppage of the titled steam generating plant by a method wherein a backward pipe connected to a condensed water supply pipe is connected to the upper trunk of a condenser located above a group of heat tranfer pipes of the condenser.

CONSTITUTION: The following condensed water circulating operation is performed during the stoppage of the boiled water type atomic power plant for the purpose of preventing the generation of rust on the condensed water supply line. That is, the condensed water in a secondary hot well 3 flows through a condensed water pump 12 attached to a supply water pipe 28, a low pressure supply water heater 14, a bypass valve 16 and a high pressure supply water heater 18 in that order and is then supplied into the upper trunk 26 of the condenser 1 through the backward pipe 21 connected to the supply water pipe 28 at a positon near a nuclear reactor 19. After that, the condensed water is cooled by sea water introduced into the heat transfer pipes 25 by a circulating water pump 23 through a water tank 24 of the condenser while it passes among the heat transfer pipes and is returned to the primary hot well 2.
