To enhance safety on burns by preventing hot water in a heat exchange tank from overflowing into a bathtub and preventing steam at a high temperature from blowing off into the bathtub.
The steam generator is provided with: a water level detection means for detecting the water level of the hot water of a hot water storage tank; a heater for boiling the hot water in the hot water storage tank; a hot water temperature detection means for detecting the hot water temperature in the hot water storage tank; a sucking port and a jetting port provided for circulating the hot water inside the hot water storage tank; a circulation pump for sucking the hot water from the sucking port and jetting it from the jetting port; a vapor-liquid separation means for separating the hot water jetted from the jetting port and the steam supplied with heat by the hot water; and a control means for controlling the heater and the circulation pump and monitoring the water level detection means and the hot water temperature detection means. In the steam generator, the revolving number of the circulation pump is made variable corresponding to the output of the hot water temperature detection means or the water level detection means of the hot water storage tank, thereby operating the system.
