Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable a steambrush to prevent the occurrence of dew condensation without the need for a separate heat source by installing a steam guide made of a heat conducting material opposite a heater between a steam generating unit and a brush base.
CONSTITUTION: Heat generated by a heater 11 heats up the surface of a heater case 13 and is then conducted to water absorption elements 12 and 23 heating up water contained therein, resulting in the generation of steam. A brush section 3 is provided with a steam guide 26, from which the steam guided from openings 24 and 25 of a heater holder 15 into the central part of a brush base 4 is discharged. With the steam guide 26, a spacer 27 made of a material of excellent heat conductivity such as copper, etc., and formed in a square block has vents 30 protruded for upward discharge of the steam at four corners of its top side surface to be connected through vertical paths with two steam delivery slots 31 formed on each side. Dew condensation does not occur because the spacer 27 is kept at high temperature as it is heated up by heat from a heater case 13 heated up by heat generated by the heater 11. The utilization of the heater 11 of a steam generation unit 9 as the heat source tables the structure to be simplified.
