Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam injector at a higher discharge pressure and a heat pump device using the same.SOLUTION: A steam injector comprises: an introduction part introducing a liquid flow of refrigerant and a steam flow of the refrigerant; a mixture part having a shape in which an internal cross-sectional area is reduced toward a forward direction of the liquid flow, mixing up the liquid flow in a jet state and the steam flow inside, and forming a refrigerant flow; a throat part formed on an output side of the mixture part; and a diffuser part having a shape in which an internal cross-sectional area is reduced from the throat part toward a forward direction of the refrigerant flow. The internal cross-sectional area of the throat part is smaller than a critical cross-sectional area in a case in which a discharge pressure of the refrigerant flow discharged from a discharge portion of the diffuser part linearly increases when the internal cross-sectional area of the throat part is reduced.
