Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance entering force of a cleaning member into a discharge port, in a steam trap in which the cleaning member is made to enter the discharge port by a displacement member displaced by a temperature change.SOLUTION: A steam trap comprises: a casing having a small diameter part 16a acting as a discharge port of drain; bi-metal 25 which is arranged at a position where the drain discharged from the small diameter part 16a flows and displaced by a temperature change; and a cleaning member 30 which enters the small-diameter part 16a to remove a foreign substance. The bi-metal 25 is a plate-like member having a curved part 26 and is constituted in such a way that the curved part 26 is displaced by the temperature change and curved to an opposite side and at the same time, a displacement force of the curved part 26 is made to act on the cleaning member 30 to cause the cleaning member 30 to enter the small-diameter part 16a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
