Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure that corrosion in gland parts can be restrained, and that a decrease in output of a steam turbine can be restrained.SOLUTION: A steam turbine facility (1) comprises: a first flasher (3) that separates steam and hot water from geothermal fluid; a second flasher (4) that separates steam and hot water from the hot water supplied via the first flasher; a steam turbine (6) that is driven by the steam supplied from the first flasher; and a shaft seal steam supply system (22) that supplies shaft seal steam to gland parts (20) that seal gaps between a rotating shaft (17) of the steam turbine and a turbine casing. The shaft seal steam supply system supplies the steam separated by the second flasher as the shaft seal steam to the gland parts.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
