Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make single operation of a turbine generator possible as well as to contrive reduction in size of a steam turbine-generator equipment and a turbine building by connecting a fine pipe, arranged in a barrel of each condenser, to communicate through an intermediate water chamber. CONSTITUTION:In a steam turbine-generator equipment 1, condensers 8A, 8B, connected to low pressure turbines 5A, 5B, are adjacently arranged. Here a fine pipe 12 of fine pipe bundles 10, 11, arranged in a barrel 9 of each condenser 8A, 8B, is connected to communicate through a water chamber 14 and an intermediate water chamber 15. While the intermediate water chamber 15 is connected to the barrel 9 in an air-tight condition through a pipe plate 13. Thus being possible to reduce a number of circulating water pipes 16 for feeding circulating water to the fine pipe 12 and a number of sets of circulating pumps and so forth, the steam turbine-generator equipment 1 and a turbine building can be formed in reduced size. While one of condenser 8A or 8B is inspected, the other condenser 8B or 8A can be operated, and single operation of the condenser 8A or 8B and subsequently the steam turbine-generator equipment 1 can be realized.
