PURPOSE: To provide a method and device for controlling the liquid level in a lot of drain receivers connected to a common line in a steam turbine system.
CONSTITUTION: This steam turbine is provided with drain lines 92-96, drain receivers 86-90, a lot of moisture-separator-reheaters(MSR) 80-84, flow control valves 120-124, a manifold 118 and drain lines 112-116. The manifold 118 is connected to a drain cooling device 134 and communicates with one of feed water heaters via a flow control valve 138. This has pressure and liquid level sensors 98-102, a controller 110 monitors the pressure sensors, selects a drain receiver in the lowest pressure state, completely opens a valve related to the selected drain receiver, then responds to the liquid level sensors 98-102 to adjust a flow control valve, and adjusts the liquid levels in the other drain receivers. The control valve related to the other drain receiver is adjusted to adjust the pressure in a common line to the pressure of the lowest drain receiver.
