Abstract:
To provide a steam valve device and a steam turbine power generation apparatus capable of ensuring and maintaining the steam flow consistency in a flow passage formed between a valve element and a valve seat in an opening/closing process.
A steam valves device 40 includes a valve casing having an inner circumferential surface forming a valve chest, a valve seat 45 provided in the valve chest, a valve element 46 of a spherical shape which is stored in the valve chest and attachable/detachable to/from the valve seat 45, and a gas flow generation device 55 which generates the induced gas flow F in a space 53 by turning a part of vapor flowing in a space 53 between the valve seat 45 and the valve element 46 into plasma.
