To provide a steam valve for further reducing pressure loss by effectively controlling the flow of main steam around a strainer housed in a valve casing.
In the steam valve, a first valve device 21 composed of a valve seat, a valve element, a valve rod, and a driving device and a second valve device 22 composed of a valve seat, a valve element, a valve rod and a driving device are combined and housed in one valve casing 23. The strainer 27 housed in the valve casing 23 to surround the valve element 29 of the first valve device is provided with a closing part 41 to block part of the flow of the main steam flowing from the outside to the inside of the strainer 27, and a partition 42 preventing collision between the two flows of the main stream divided and brought in around the strainer 27 is provided between the strainer 27 and the valve casing 23.
