Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable to close a steam regulating valve instantaneouly by a method wherein a cylindrical valve seat with bottom is hung in a lower cabin and the cylindrical steam regulating valve is slidably fitted to the cylindrical part of the valve seat with the bottom. CONSTITUTION:An upper cabin 4 and the lower cabin 5 are divided by the cylindrical valve seat 6. A steam stop valve 10 is opened and closed by being separated from or abuttd against the valve seat 6. A multitude of steam flow-out ports 11 is bored on the cylindrical part with bottom 6b of the valve seat 6 and the cylindrical steam regulating valve 14 is slidably fitted to the cylindrical part with bottom 6. Thus, a resistance for closing the steam regulating valve 14 is reduced and thereby enabling to close the valve instantaneouly and to intercept the flow of high-pressure steam instantaneously.
