Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vapor compression system that has a simple configuration capable of generating vapor that can be used effectively, from a liquid medium efficiently.SOLUTION: The vapor compression system includes: an evaporator 10 for generating vapor by evaporating the liquid medium; a pressure feeder 30 for feeding by pressure the liquid medium to the evaporator 10; an ejector 40 configured to suck the vapor from the evaporator 10 by using the liquid medium pressure-fed by the pressure feeder 30 as a working fluid to reduce the pressure inside the evaporator 10, and then, pressurize and exhaust the vapor sucked from the evaporator 10; a gas-liquid separator 50 for separating the mixture of the liquid medium and the vapor exhausted from the ejector 40 into liquid medium and vapor; and a positive-displacement compressor 20 for compressing the vapor exhausted from the gas-liquid separator 50.
