Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the steel belt of a tenter which is characterized by reduced abrasion and the restrained scattering of lubricating oil.
SOLUTION: On the surface of steel belts (1, 1') for guiding a film transporting chain which travels with its side end parts gripped, oil grooves 10, 11, 12, 11C, 11U, 11J are formed on a locus on which the roller of the chain rolls. The inlets 15, 16, 17 of lubricating oil are formed in prescribed places in the grooves 10, 11, 12, 11c, 11U, 11J.
