To provide a steel cord junction device which can largely improve working efficiency by enough curtailing a cycle time from the receipt of a steel cord by a cord sticking means to the completion of each setting without making the whole device, for example, large and complex.
The straight steel cord SC which is formed by a steel cord twisting machine 1 and cut in a constant length is transferred to the steel cord sticking means 6 which grips both end parts of the steel cord SC and set it at a prescribed position. A plurality of stripe grooves 4 which are extended in parallel with the central axis and allow the entrance of the steel cord SC formed by the twisting machine 1 are formed in the peripheral surface of a drum 3 rotated/displaced intermittently over a necessary angle range. A magnet 7 which is located on the interior side of the drum 3 and prevents the falling of the steel cord SC from the grooves 4 until the delivery of the steel cord SC to the cord sticking means 6 in the grooves is made independent of the drum 3 and fixed/arranged. The length of the grooves is made to protrude from both end parts of the steel cord SC cut in the constant length.
