To relate to steel cords which is used as a reinforcing material for rubber articles such as pneumatic tires or conveyer belts, particularly obtain steel cords for reinforcing rubber articles having improved corrosion properties and increased fatigue resistance by modifying the structure of the steel cords so that they may be readily impregnated into the inside of the cords with rubber.
