Abstract:
To provide a steel dam of which the corner portion can be prevented from being worn without using concrete, and a design method of the steel dam.
A steel dam 100 comprises a pair of non-overflow parts 10 and a permeable part 20 held between the pair of non-overflow parts 10. The non-overflow part 10 is formed from an upstream surface material 1 formed from a steel plate, a curved surface material 2 connected to the upstream surface material 1, a permeable surface material 3 connected to the curved surface material 2 and opposed to the permeable part 20, and a concrete downstream surface material 4. The curved surface material 2 has an arcuate cross section.
