Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a steel-made segment which is proper to energy saving and mass production and excellent in strength and advantageous in terms of construction cost as well.
CONSTITUTION: A bending deformation is worked on a face (a) in parallel to a flange face 3 of an H section 2 so that a definite curvature may be provided while a segment-to-segment connection flange 5 is joined with both ends of a web 4 of the flange. The flange 3 of the H section 2 is specified as a ring-to- ring connection flange of the steel-made segment 1. Concrete is filled up along the outside faces of the web 4, thereby forming a coating layer 7 in the outer peripheral part of the steel-made segment 1.
