Abstract:
To provide a steel material that is produced by welding plated steel sheet, and superior in adhesion of repair film even when a welding bead and a mill scale exists in a weld zone.SOLUTION: A steel material is provided with a base material including a steel plate 11 and a plating layer 12 formed on the steel plate, and a welding zone including a welding bead 21 and a mill scale 22 formed on the welding bead. The plating layer contains Al: 2.0 to 19.0 mass%, Mg: 1.0 to 10.0 mass%, Si: 0 to 2.0 mass%, the residue: Zn, and impurities as chemical compositions, and the mill scale contains Al, Mg, Fe, O and further optionally contains Si, Zn. A ratio of the total content of Al and Mg occupied in the total content of Al, Mg, Fe, O, Si, and Zn in the mill scale is 3.0 to 25.0 mass%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
