Abstract:
To provide a steel pipe column structure which delays local buckling thereof, delays progress of the local buckling even after the occurrence of buckling, alleviates deterioration of proof stress, and is applicable to reinforcement of an existing steel pipe column, to thereby contributes to reduction of construction costs.
The steel pipe column is constructed by arranging reinforcing members such as spiral reinforcements, fiber sheets, and/or cages, in the steel pipe column in a range from a steel pipe base portion up to a predetermined height, and then pouring concrete.
