Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a steel pipe cutting method improving cutting efficiency.
CONSTITUTION: A rotatory-driven milling cutter 11 is relatively moved in the tangential direction to an optional point P in the inner peripheral surface from the outer peripheral surface of a cut steel pipe 21 to cut while slitting, and after the milling cutter 11 reaches the optional point P in the inner peripheral surface of the cut steel pipe 21, slitting is applied relatively along the outer peripheral direction by the milling cutter 11 to cut the cut steel pipe 21.
