PURPOSE: To provide excellent workability during both installation time and removal time of a pile and provide excellent supporting properties to both a drive-in force and a pull-out force.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of spiral blades 4a, 4b and 4c are installed to the outer periphery of a pile main body 1 substantially with a definite spacing directed upward from the tip of the pile main body 1. Bar steel 3 is spirally wound around a cone 2 installed to the tip of the pile main body 1. A spiral blade 4b in the center is adapted to be maximum-sized while the outside diameter is arranged to be smaller directed at the spiral blade 4a in the lower most area and the spiral blade 4c in the upper most area. The outside diameter of each spiral blade is specified to be 1.5 times larger than the axial diameter D1 of a steel pipe of the pile main body 1. The spacings 11 and 12 between each spiral blade are arranged to be around 1.5 to 2 times larger than the outside diameter of each spiral blade. When the pile is driven into, a rotary drive-in drive device is mounted to the upper end of the spiral main body 1 and driven into the ground while turning the pile main body 1. When removed from the ground, a rotary pull-out drive device is mounted to the lower end of the pile main body 1 While turning the pile main body 1, the pile is removed from the ground.
