Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase peripheral face friction force of a positioned steel pipe to improve vertical support force in steel pipe positioning by pile installation by inner excavation.
SOLUTION: In this pile installation by inner excavation in which a screw auger S is inserted into a steel pipe P, digged earth and sand are discharged upward through the steel pipe P while a vertical hole is digged in advance by a digging head at a lower end of the screw auger S due to the rotation of the screw auger S, and the steel pipe P is inserted into the vertical hole, solidifying liquid is injected onto an inner peripheral face of the vertical hole from a nozzle of the digging head at the same time with rotary digging of the screw auger S and the insertion of the steel pipe P to form a soft soil belt including the solidifying liquid along substantially spiral line on the inner peripheral face of the vertical hole by the injection and form a substantially spiral hard soil belt adhered firmly on an original ground and the steel pipe P due to its hardening after positioning of the steel pipe.
