Title:
STEEL PIPE REINFORCED WITH FIBER CLOTH
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH10288283
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To improve shearing slippage resisting force, and obstruct propagation of a crack and falling out of a protection layer such as mortar, by sticking fiber cloth on the inner face of the inner layer of a steel pipe having a resin coating lining on the inner layer, and arranging a protection layer on the inside.

A steel pipe coatedly lined with organic resin is used for this steel pipe 1 having resin coating lining 2 on the inner layer, and for the coated lining, polyethylene resin of little water absorption, and excellent low temperature characteristic and electric insulation is favorable. Fiber cloth 3 is stuck on the inner face, but for the adhesive, an adhesive of which adhesiveness is good, and workability is good without influencing on the other matter, is used. For the fiber cloth 3, a synthetic fiber such as polyester base or polyamide base is adopted, a semi synthetic fiber such as an acetate base, and for the form, woven fabric, knitted fabric, nonwoven fabric, or the like is adopted. Next, a protection layer 4 constituted of mortar and cement is provided on the inside of the fiber cloth. In this way, expensive resin mortar is not used, and hence a steel pipe for propulsive construction method of low price and no falling out of the protection layer can be provided.
