Abstract:
To simply and efficiently cut a steel plate having a rugged shape on the surface by using a copying sensor.SOLUTION: A steel plate 1A having a rugged shape on the surface is cut by a heat cutting torch 10a. A copying sensor 14 which is connected with the heat cutting torch 10a and detects ruggedness on the surface of the steel plate 1A with a sensor tip part capable of being brought into contact with the steel plate 1A surface is provided. In accordance with the ruggedness detected by the copying sensor 14, the heat cutting torch 10a is displaced in such direction as to approach/get away from the steel plate 1A surface and, at the same time, the steel plate 1A is cut with the heat cutting torch 10a. The tip part of the copying sensor is brought into contact with protruded parts on the steel plate surface, however, is not brought into contact with the bottom part of recessed parts of the steel plate surface and is displaced in the cutting direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
