On either one of the covered surface of a resin film covered steel plate for which one surface of the steel plate is covered by a colored resin film, or the coated surface of a paint applied steel plate for which a colored paint is applied, a printing layer on which a paint having a tone being different from the tone of the colored resin film or the colored paint is applied is provided for this covered steel plate. The joint pattern is applied on the boundary between the printing layer and the colored resin film or the colored paint. This steel plate having the joint pattern is constituted in such a manner that a protective layer through which the joint pattern is visible is provided in a manner to cover the joint pattern and the printing layer or the joint pattern.
