Abstract:
To provide a steel plate earthquake resistant wall and a steel plate earthquake resistant wall structure in which it is possible to select a material having a flexural rigidity necessary and sufficient to prevent lowering of bearing force due to input of earthquake energy and which is easily joined to a frame of a building.SOLUTION: A steel plate earthquake resistant wall comprises: a rectangular shaped steel plate; a frame member welded to a peripheral edge portion of the steel plate; and a joint portion installed at four corner portions of the frame member and capable of pin-supporting. When flexural rigidity ratio is φ, Young coefficient of the frame member is E, geometrical moment of inertia of the frame member is I, flexural rigidity of the steel plate is D, height of the steel plate is H, Young coefficient of the steel plate is E, thickness of the steel plate is t, and Poisson's ratio is ν, D=(E×t)/12(1-ν) and φ=(E×I)/(D×H)>200.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
