To provide a shape determination method and shape determination device of a steel plate which can accurately determine the shape of a steel plate.SOLUTION: A shape determination method of a steel plate according to the present invention for determining the shape of a steel plate rolled by a rolling machine comprises a step of determining the shape of the steel plate by using a shape determination model generated by machine learning that uses image data of the steel plate acquired by imaging the steel plate as input data and uses shape determination information for determining the shape of the steel plate as output data.
