Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel sheet pile concrete block that enables work for the assembly, installation and removal of a temporary cofferdam and temporary soil retaining works to be easily executed in an emergency on the occurrence of disasters such as an earth slide and a collapse of a river bank, and a construction method for the same.SOLUTION: A precast concrete block, in which a steel sheet pile and concrete are integrated together, enables repeated use and improve cut-off properties. A large number of steel sheet pile concrete blocks for a temporary cofferdam and temporary soil retaining works, both the longitudinal ends of which have joint parts, are connected together. Field work can be rapidly and easily executed only by transportation and installation to enable shortening of a construction period and cost reduction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
