To provide a metallic sheet for radiation heating, which is suitable to produce a processed metallic sheet having a portion with different strength and which is used for hot stamping and which is simply heated to a desired temperature even when the surface reflectance of the metallic sheet is high and a method of producing the same.
The region where the reflectance of radiation is lowered than that of the surface of the original metallic sheet is formed in a part of the surface of the metallic sheet on which radiation heating is performed by near infrared ray. As a treatment for reducing the reflectance, coating or thermal spraying in a blackish color, plating in blackish color, a treatment for roughening the surface roughness of the metallic sheet, blasting, etching, blackening, a treatment for changing the material of the surface of the metallic sheet, or the like are adoptable. After making the metallic sheet into the heated metallic sheet having partially different temperature by performing the radiation heating, thermal processing accompanied by cooling by hot stamping, for example, is performed.
