Title:
STEEL STRUCTURE USING STEEL-PIPE COLUMN
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3801577
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel structure using a steel-pipe column, which enables the easy, stable and firm performance of welding work for forming a panel zone, and which enables the simple and easy performance of work for connecting a beam material in on a building site.
SOLUTION: The steel-pipe column is constituted by externally fitting a hot-formed short steel pipe 2 to a panel zone forming part of a long steel pipe 1 so as to make pipes 1 and 2 subjected to welding connection 3. The beam material 10 is fastened and connected to the side of the steel pipe 2 of the column 5 via a bracket 12. Setting work in the welding and connection can be easily and rapidly performed on account of being only the alignment of the short steel pipe with respect to the longitudinal direction of the long steel pipe. A shape of an inner peripheral surface of the short steel pipe can be easily made identical to a shape of an outer peripheral surface of the long steel pipe by hot forming of the short steel pipe, and the outer peripheral surface of the long steel pipe is fitted to the inner peripheral surface of the short round steel pipe in such a manner that they are brought into close contact with each other. The connection of the beam material to the short-steel-pipe side of the steel-pipe column can be simply and easily performed via the bracket material by fastening and connection.
