Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make the forming of a rust preventive covered layer so easily, by covering a steel tube body for brake fluid piping with a tubular covering material consisting of thermal shrinkable resin except its tube fitting part. CONSTITUTION:A steel tube as hydraulic brake piping for a vehicle, for example, a motorcycle is made up of covering a steel tube body 14 with a covering material 15. This covering material 15 should be a tubular one consisting of thermal shrinkable polyethylene material, and this covering material 15 is shrinked by pouring boiling water on it after being covered on the steel tube body 14, and it is made so as to adhere close to a peripheral surface of the steel tube body 14. With this constitution, water is prevented from penetrating into space between the covering material 15 and the steel tube body 14, whereby rust gathering on the steel tube body is surely kept back. The said covering material 15 is not covered so far as a tube fitting part 16 of the body 14, meaning that this steel tube body 14 is made so as to be exposed at this tube fitting part 16.
