Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a wired wheel having a better resilient characteristic with respect to a subject to which it is attached.

CONSTITUTION: A wired wheel basically includes steel rods each having a top portion, a central portion and a bottom portion which are secured to three respective bands. Some of the rods are inclined in one direction and the remainder is inclined in the opposite direction. The bands are bent into a circular ring and formed in an elastic material to shape the outer form of a tire 1. A frame 2 is attached to the tire. The frame 2 includes a flange 24 extending outward from one end thereof, a plurality of bolts or protrusions 23 circumferentially spaced apart for insertion into a plurality of aligned holes 31 in a cap 3, and a plurality of holes 22 for receiving the bolts or protrusions from an axle.
