To provide a method of separating iron-making slag capable of efficiently separating iron-making slag into an iron content and a non-iron content in order to recycle the iron-making slag produced in an iron-making process (in particular, hot metal preliminary processing and converter process).
The method of separating iron-making slag, when separating the iron-making slag into the iron content and the non-iron content, includes: a pulverizing process (S1) of pulverizing the iron-making slag; an air-flow conveyance (agitation) process (S2) of performing the air-flow conveyance/agitation of the pulverized iron-making slag; and a specific gravity separation process (S3) of separating the iron-making slag subjected to the air-flow agitation into the iron content (heavy weight side) and the non-iron content (light weight side) according to specific gravity separation.
