To provide a compact steer-by-wire device in which the handle operation of an occupant is performed without a sense of incompatibility.
A steer-by-wire device 1 is used for a vehicle in which front wheels are rotated in a toe direction with respect to a frame 12 by rotation operation of a steering 11. The steer-by-wire device 1 includes: a rotation angle acquisition member 2 which acquires a rotation angle of the steering; actuators 3, 4 in which drive power is generated in accordance with the angle acquired by the rotation angle acquisition member; a connection shaft 5 which transmits the drive power of the actuators to rotation of the front wheels in the toe direction; a joint part which transmits the drive power, transmitted from output shafts of the actuators, to the connection shaft in a direction opposite to an output direction of the actuators; and a support member 6 which is mounted to the frame and supports the actuators. The actuators are disposed to be lower than the steering 11 so that the output shafts of the actuators become parallel with a toe direction rotation axis of the front wheels.
