Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a steering angle detection mechanism of a handlebar by which the steering angle detection mechanism of the handlebar can be used together with devices around the handlebar without adding great change to the devices around the handlebar, and an electrically assisted bicycle.SOLUTION: A handlebar steering angle detection device 70 is provided with a detected part 74 which is arranged inside a head pipe 12 of a frame 20, and whose shape is varied along a peripheral direction in a front fork stem 42 which is made rotatable to the head pipe 12, and integrally rotates with a handlebar. The handlebar steering angle detection device 70 is further provided with a stroke sensor 72 which is arranged by contacting or being separated from the detected part 74, and detects a steering angle of the handlebar according to a rotating position of the detected part 74 in the head pipe 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
